Capital Valley IPSSA chapter is one of the largest pool service associations. Along with the dedication to safety and educating industry professionals the chapter also helps other non-profits such as the Sacramento Sheriff's Toy Project and the Fair Oaks VFW.

Tips for a healthy pool:

• Run filtration equipment for recommended length of time. When in doubt, run pool filter for about one hour for every 10o F outside.
• Keep all filtration baskets clean to keep filter circulating properly.
• Keep all equipment in good repair.
• Chemical customers, make sure your filters are clean!
• Brush pool frequently especially during hot months. Once a week may not always be enough.
• Please call immediately if you notice any growth starting in your pool .There are now Mineral packs, such as Pool RX, to help your pool stay clear and to avoid algaecide treatments.
